"WOW...I look so forward to this review. We came home last Saturday afternoon to find we had No A/C. Knowing I have a 23yr old A/C unit I knew this was coming. I called 3 companies and set apt.'s for Monday. 1 was a company we used to service our current A/C and Heater for the last 9 pears and they have been great. The other 2 were the best rated I found that I liked. Pickerington Heating and Cooling aka 5 STAR SERVICES did not come in the cheapest but was in the middle and the reason I pick them was because of the Salesman Josh ! An older very experienced man in the industry not just sales. He was so knowledgeable about all the systems and what I truly needed. But he convinced me what separated Pickerington Heating and Cooling was the staff and installers. The Installers are truly what matters in a job like this. They told me on Monday they were so booked that it would be next Monday before I could get a Fill install. But Josh went above and beyond and stop back the next day with a capacitor that got my old one up and running so we had a/c to get by with. Sure I could have just had him replace that and been done and we both knew that, but it is 23 yrs old. So we chose to replace it. Now they call me on Tuesday and say an opening came up and they could squeeze it in Thursday !!! Great News !!! Now the BEST PART ...The 3 men they sent out Jerrick, Tony and Zane. These 3 worked together like an Ohio State Offense ..2 worked inside taking the furnace apart and Zane outside taking the old A/C unit apart and installing the New Goodman. When it was all said and done I was so impressed ..Clean as you go, organized, communicated great between the 3 of them. Every thing they touched or did looks great, clean and professionally installed. I have been in sales and high end customer service and these guys ROCKED IT...Thank You All...You deserve this review...If your reading this far...Do NOT hesitate to call this company.."

"TL;DR: BUYER BEWARE! \n\nI contacted Dor-Mar after our home flooded to diagnose a repair on my furnace and AC. Their rep looked at our furnace, never took off the panel of either the furnace or the AC unit, but somehow managed to decide that our whole unit needed to be replaced, which would cost over $7K.\n\nThe next day, I received a second opinion from a different company, who repaired our unit for $2K.\n\nDor-Mar then sent a bill - after-the-fact - for a $99 fee. I was never told about a fee. When I called and explained my issue, essentially that their representative falsely diagnosed our problem to upsell a product we didn't need, Stacey said she would talk with the manager and get back to me. She did not.\n\nSeveral months later, I was sent a PAST DUE notice for $99 and a receptionist explaining to me that I still needed to pay a fee basically saying, "You still owe us money even though we were wrong." \n\nYes, their ads are correct: They CAN have someone out the same day where you may have to wait a day or two for another company, but do yourself a favor...wait a few days and get an HONEST estimate. Otherwise, you may spend more money than you need to."
