Step 1 Charge the PS5 controller. Should be obvious. Step 2 Connect the PS5 controller to the PC, go into settings\controller\General Controller Settings and enable "Generic Gamepad Configuration Support". Also use that menu to map the controller buttons. Step 3 Setup your PC and Steam Link so you can stream properly with the mouse connected. Step 4 Go into the main menu for the Steam Link ...
From PS5 BACK to PC, however, there's an annoying step. You MUST first go to that Bluetooth menu and click on the "Wireless Controller" and "REMOVE DEVICE", then re-pair with the same process.
Connect the controller to the PC via USB cable. Turn on controller (for me at this stage the controller worked as normal while connected with the wire) Disconnect the USB cable (PC should lose connection to the controller and the controller should turn off) Put the controller back in pairing mode, and then pair it from the PC one last time.
The second time i tried to pair with the pc, it wouldn't show up again. Things I tried: - update controller firmware - remove usb dongle, add it again - remove from tv - turn tv off - remove from pc - delete all mentions from device manager - connect through usb cable, delete from device manager, try from bluetooth again - reset the controller
If anyone is having similar issues, all I did was connect my controller to PC, go to bluetooth settings, and search the list for wireless controller (in my case it was under audio devices now). Remove the device from the list, reconnect your controller (PS5 button + Share button until it blinks rapidly).
Hi, My dualsense (ps5) controller doesnt quick connect to my pc. everytime i press ps button, it glows blue light for couple of times before being static for 2 seconds followed by nothing showed.
There are a lot of tutorials on how to connect the ps5 controller to the pc, I already followed them, paired my controller and it worked, but how do I reconnect it? is there a different button to fast connect? or do I have to make windows forget my controller and pair it everytime I will play something? Archived post.
If you bought the controller stand-alone, download the Dualsense firmware updater from Sony's website and check if the controller appears there. Make sure the cable being used have good quality, try using a smartphone usb C cable. If you have a PS5 console, is the controller working on it? Including wired? Edit, is the controller genuine?
I am able to play on Remote Play using the PS5 DualSense controllover on PC but only when it's wired (connected through a cable). If the controller is connected to the PC via bluetooth, it won't work on Remote Play.
Auto connecting to pc after pairing? (SOLVED) Hello, I love the DS5 controller. But everytime when I use it on my pc (I dont have a ps5), I need to go to bluetooth settings and connect to the controller. Its not a big problem, but it would be nice if the controller would auto connect when my pc is already on.
