You'd need to manually delete the content if you wish to remove it, since that doesn't happen automatically. Unless of course, you specifically followed these steps and asked for the content to be removed after removing the device.

Since you've already uninstalled and unlinked your account via the desktop app on that device, you're safe to delete your Dropbox folder without affecting your Dropbox files as it's now a static copy of your Dropbox folder as it was at the time you unlinked it.
