Sierra snow: It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
While snow starts late Christmas Eve, the worst conditions should arrive on Wednesday night and continue through Christmas Day, with heavy snow and dangerous travel, especially above 6,500 feet.
Meteorologists say the state is expected to see up to a foot of snow in places between Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning.
On Monday night and early Tuesday morning, the Park City area failed to drop below freezing at any location, including weather stations at 10,000 feet in elevation. Most of us stayed in the 40s overnight.
