Officers are chasing a driver in a possibly stolen car on streets in the Mid-City area and Hollywood. Details about what led to the chase were not immediately available.

A suspect is dead after an extended police chase across Addison and the Dallas North Tollway. Addison police and Texas DPS officers began the pursuit after the suspect assaulted a peace officer during a traffic stop. All lanes of the northbound DNT were closed at Parker Road following the chase.
