The emergency response took an unexpected turn when a firefighter fell through the second story onto a colleague below.

OLMSTED FALLS, Ohio -- After serving six years as Olmsted Falls Fire Chief, Matt Sheehan retired at the end of 2025.

Emergency dispatchers said the fire was first reported around 10:12 a.m. in the 300 block of East King Street.
